Looking for the best motorcycle jacket for cold weather riding? Then look no further than the new Alpinestars Andes V3 Drystar jacket to keep you both warm and also dry. At the time of posting this video its already October, and for those of us who don't winter storage our motorcycles like most; having the right gear for the coming winter months is just essential.

So far in my four years of riding, I've worn a thick waxed cotton jacket for the winter months. While at first the waxed cotton did provide some great waterproofing, with time and several miles in the saddle, the waxed treatment started to fade. So come this fall I knew I needed a new riding jacket. Thankfully, I found the Alpinestars Andes V3. It's the third version of their Andes line and it being their third version means they must have worked out any kinks right?

This jacket is made for colder weather and it also provides waterproofing. Something that may be overlooked for winter items. I commute on my motorcycle so the fact that had to switch to a fully waterproof backpack (and I've seen the amazing benefits of it!) I wanted to get a waterproof jacket... because being caught in the rain...during winter...is a nightmare!
