After day 11, we deliberately added a shorter 4/5 hour day for Day12, booking our next accommodation that night. It enabled us to re-supply and rest not under pressure. A fairly easy 18km day into Lauder starting with a beautiful walk down, over and back next to the River Tweed and then following parts of the Roman Road "Dere Street" into Lauder. Our quiet lunch spot seemed to attract all sorts. We finished in a lovely Air B&B
