Описание: Susan Denise Atkins was born in San Gabriel, California on May 7, 1948. She was her parents' second child, and only daughter. Her parents were reportedly alcoholics. In 1964, Susan's mother passed away from brain cancer. Susan was then left to fend for her and her younger brother while their father went through multiple jobs. Susan's life spiraled out of control, to which she became an alcoholic, and then started experimenting with drugs. She eventually became a topless dancer, and even participated in a "witch's sabbath" with Anton LeVey and the other dancers of her club. In 1967, Susan met Charles Manson, and soon became a part of his "family". On October 7th, 1968, Susan gave birth to her one and only child, a son named 'Zezozece Zadfrack Glutz'. The name was bestowed from Charles Manson himself. The child was premature, having been born 2 months early, and according to Susan, he was only two pounds. She admits in her book that she still did drugs when pregnant, despite people like Charles Manson actually telling her not to.


Susan is most notorious for having participated in the murder of Sharon Tate, but before that, she also helped Bobby Beausoleil and Mary Brunner murder Gary Hinman. They took turns in smothering him with a pillow until Gary eventually passed away. On August 8th, 1969, Susan Atkins, Tex Watson, Linda Kasabian, and Patricia Krenwinkel went to 10050 Cielo Drive, and murdered everybody there...at least in the main house. Susan stabbed Voytek Frykowski, and held down Sharon Tate as Tex Watson stabbed the 8 month pregnant actress to death. In some accounts from Susan, she was the one that stabbed Sharon to death, though later on in prison, Susan denied stabbing Sharon Tate. While Susan participated in Sharon's murder, she told the actress, "Bitch, I have no mercy for you.". Though, later in parole hearings, she would say, "Woman, I have no mercy for you.". Despite having had a child herself less than a year prior, Susan did not seem to mind killing a pregnant woman. In one book at least, it has been quoted that Susan thought about cutting the baby out of Sharon and raising him with those in their group, but she decided against the idea. That baby, Paul Polanski, suffocated to death in utero.


On the night of August 10th, Susan went with Linda Kasabian and Steve Grogan to kill an actor named Saladin Nader. Kasabian thwarted the efforts by misleading the group to the wrong apartment. According to Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi, Susan then proceeded to defecate off the balcony of the apartment complex, as there were no other bathrooms around.


Ironically, the Manson group weren't arrested for the Tate-LaBianca murders, instead they were in jail for their desecration of a government truck. For some unknown reason, perhaps for the sake of attention or looking tougher than she really was, Susan blabbed about her activities of the murders while in jail. Despite there being two popular people she told the story to (Ronnie Howard and Virginia Graham), according to a documentary about the Manson family, Susan told multiple people in jail, of which many did not want to hear. Susan also talked about the group's, or at least her, future plans to hurt other people, which included gouging the eyes of other celebrities. When the story broke as to who killed Sharon Tate and the others at Tate-LaBianca, the media went into a frenzy.


The trial was a circus, and the most expensive in Los Angeles at the time. The public were shocked to see the three girls (Susan, Leslie, and Pat) to have taken the situation almost comically, treating themselves like stars exposed to the press. People were even further shocked when the three appeared on camera with X's etched into their foreheads, and their heads were shaved. The trio had no remorse for their actions. Leslie Van Houten can be quoted as saying, "Sorry is just a five letter word.".


Ultimately, Susan the others were convicted of the murders and sentenced to death. Unfortunately, this decision was reversed in 1972 after the death penalty was deemed unconstitutional in California. Susan the others were then commuted to a "Life with the possibility of parole" sentence. To this day, only one person in the Manson family has ever been granted parole, Steve Grogan.


In 2009, Susan Atkins died of brain cancer after being denied a compassionate release. She never saw her son again, who was quickly taken from her custody after the murders in 1969. No-one in her family would take the child in. Eventually, he was adopted by a doctor, and supposedly renamed Paul. It is unknown if the man that would be Susan's son is still alive, and if he ever knew where he really came from. Hopefully, he never found out. According to 'Helter Skelter', Susan admitted to performing fellatio on her son.



While in prison, Susan wrote this book, which was released in 1977. Allegedly, it became a best seller. Susan never made any off the book she wrote, and donated the
