• New Listings: Flat compared to January
• Inventory: Up about 13% (485 homes vs 424 in January)
• Benchmark Price: Up roughly 4–5% month-over-month
• Days on Market: Down slightly (48 days vs 53 in January)

WHAT IT MEANS:
The Burlington real estate market saw noticeable price appreciation this month. Part of this increase may be due to more detached homes selling, with 61 detached sales in February compared to 53 in January.

When more higher-priced homes sell, it can push benchmark prices higher. Buyers are active, but they remain very price-sensitive in today’s market.

• Sales: Up month-over-month
• New Listings: Slightly higher
• Inventory: Up slightly
• Benchmark Prices: Up modestly
• Days on Market: Improved compared to January

WHAT IT MEANS:
The Hamilton real estate market is also showing early spring market momentum. Activity is improving, but buyers are still selective depending on price range and property type.

📈 Interest Rate Update – Bank of Canada
The Bank of Canada held its key interest rate at 2.25% at the last announcement.
