The Myers pickup is a dynamic, omnidirectional microphone fitted to a gooseneck and paired with a quality battery-powered preamp. It outputs a high impedance, microphone level, unbalanced signal that'll play nicely with your existing effects pedals. The sound is much more representative of the actual acoustic tone of your instrument (compared to a traditional magnetic or piezo pickup) due to the microphone. In this video I'll be demonstrating the Myers pickup on acoustic, classical, and archtop jazz guitars, as well as banjo and violin.
