How to paint your RAM! (any make or model)

This video is about how to paint your RAM! The sticks featured in this video are Corsair Vengeance RGB, Hyper X Fury, G.Skill Trident Z RGB, and G.Skill Ripjaws V. Even if you don't have those specific kinds, these methods will still work on whatever you happen to have because all RAM is made basically the same way.

There are two methods, the first being to dismantle the RAM sticks and paint the heat spreaders separately. The second is just leaving the stick assembled and taping off the bottom of the dimms to prevent paint from getting on the part that connects to the motherboard. This second method is really only for non LED RAM, because you can't tape off the LED parts most of the time so you need to dismantle those.

This mod has no effect on performance, your RAM will still function the same if it's painted or not.
