Down at the Dubai Airshow - we spotted lots of eVTOL's or electric air taxis on display in the busy halls.
And it's clear the UAE wants to be the first to push the boundaries of aviation - particularly in low-altitude, urban airspace.
In fact - in the last few days, air taxi company Joby Aviation has completed the world’s first crewed flight between two distinct locations — from Margham to Al Maktoum International Airport - under their partnership with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority.
Our Executive Reporter Georgia Tolley caught up with Anthony Khoury, the UAE General Manager for Joby Aviation.
