JollyGul.com has launched a Western classical music appreciation series for our community and for our audience. Our first four episodes were about Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart and Wieniawski. This fifth episode is about Johann Sebastian Bach.

In this fifth Episode, Jakub Niewiadomski plays Bach's 5 compositions on the piano for a minute each for 5 minutes for JollyGul Main Channel on YouTube.

Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) was very significant composer of the Baroque era and the most celebrated member of a large family of north German musicians. The Baroque period of music occurred from roughly 1600 to 1750. It was preceded by the Renaissance era and followed by the Classical era. The Baroque period included composers like Bach, Vivaldi and Handel, who pioneered new styles and saw an explosion of new musical styles with the introduction of the concerto, the sonata and the opera.
