UPDATE on 4/15/2020 - Paypal sent me a document to sign. I signed it and now my PPP Loan has been sent to underwriting for review. It showed the amount of my loan.

Learn how to apply for a PPP Loan as Sole Proprietor or Independent Contractor. The banks are requiring small business owners, sole proprietors and independent contractors to have a business checking account in order to apply for the Payment Protection Program.

I was able to apply for the PPP Loan today even thought I only have a personal checking account and I file as a sole proprietor.
