Here is the flight video of my custom scratch built rocket the Giga Clone on an Aerotech M1780NT motor ! This was with the METRA rocket club in Pine Island NY on November 1 , 2025 . This is my version of the Loc Precision's Giga Magg .
This is a 12" diameter rocket made from sonotubes I fiberglassed , the nose cone I made from scratch with foam boards and fiberglass , made a template from Rocksim 11 for the fins cutting 3/4" birch plywood and center rings cut by Bob Vaulding in his machine shop !
Electronics : MissleWorks RRC3 and RRC2+ , Featherweight tracker
Unistrut rail buttons , Aeropack retainer and 98/75mm adapter and Bob Vaulding's 10' Happy Chute elliptical .
The winds were pretty strong but the rocket still flew nice and straight !
