Welcome to episode 237 of the Commander's Guild: "Tergrid Group Hug" Every week I go to scryfall.com and randomly select a card, making a budget (under $100) commander deck around it and showcasing a gameplay video of the deck. This week I'm joined by Jason, Mort, and Doodle.

This week's random card is Possessed Portal and we're using Tergrid, God of Fright as the commander. Tergrid is typically an oppressive commander that aims to lock its opponents out of the game. So, what if instead we flipped the gameplan upside down and made a group hug deck? We can help our opponents draw as many cards as possible and then find ways to help ourselves more than our opponents as they may be forced to discard to hand size, allowing us to steal some cards with Tergrid.
