Cherry Root Beer & Bourbon Float

Total time: 10 min
Serves: 4
1/2 cup (125 mL) fresh or frozen pitted cherries, thawed
2 oz (60 mL) bourbon
3 cups (750 mL) root beer, chilled
2 cups (500 mL) Sensations by Compliments Madagascar Vanilla ice cream
Directions:
1. Combine cherries and 2 tbsp (30 mL) water in a pitcher (or other tall narrow vessel). Using immersion blender, process until smooth. Stir in bourbon and divide among 4 soda fountain glasses.
2. Pour root beer over top; stir to combine. Float scoop of ice cream on top. Serve immediately.
Tip: Garnish this float with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and a fresh cherry!
