Donald Trump's wide-ranging speech in Switzerland lasted more than an hour as the US President gave a wild reason 'ungrateful' Denmark should hand Greenland over.
Following the speech Gavin Newsom shared his thoughts with reporters: "Invasion was never on the table. Give me a damn break. And so he’s exactly where we were a week or two ago. But what seems different now is leadership seems to be a little bit more, I think, willing to say publicly what we all know they’re saying privately. And I think that was meaningful and was reflected in today’s deeply, significantly insignificant remarks."
He also claimed America "won World War II", telling a silent room they would "all be speaking German and a little Japanese, perhaps" if it weren't for the US.
Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden Ebba Busch also spoke to reporters saying: "I think it’s interesting to have heard for so many years that female politicians are too emotional to be the utmost leaders. And let’s just say there has been a lot of emotions from the male leaders on both sides of the pond for the last few years. I keep my cool."
