My main duty of a kitchen helper in London:
1) I clean and sanitize all the kitchen equipment,
2) Assist in basic food preparation, to help the chef.
Being a kitchen helper is a good career choice, for men and women
who are motivated and hard working, have a passion for food,
and are looking for an opportunity to learn about kitchen and
restaurants operations.
Kitchen helpers may have opportunities to move into more senior positions
in the industry, such as line cook, kitchen manager,
or food and beverage manager.

The biggest part that makes you better is the chef that is on top of you;
he has to be willing to teach you and show you all the skills that he learned
in his many years of experience.
I also love that there is always more to be done so time goes really quickly.

Overall though I love being a Kitchen Helper(Chef Assistant).
