The Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park is a unique natural habitat. Vast sections of the nature reserve remain unaffected by human intervention. Yet the ecosystem is endangered. In the north-west region of the reserve, a large wedge of unprotected land protrudes into the middle of the park. Activists and scientists all declared war on this threat. For them only one solution is acceptable: The park needs to be extended. The documentary accompanies these enthusiasts through a significant year.
