The Anglo-Saxons and their architecture is severely underacknowledged, and so I have decided to reconstruct a fictional, but historically based, Anglo-Saxon village using research and educated guesses to the construction methods used. This particular village is based in the Late 8th Century, with the raids on English Monasteries on the rise, it leaves us with a lot of room to showcase both the civilian and military architecture of an interesting time in history, and showcase the lesser-shown side of such a famous period of history.
