We traveled all the way to Japan 🇯🇵 to experience one of the biggest sneaker events in the world — SneakerCon Japan. If you love sneakers, streetwear, and the global sneaker culture, this event is absolutely insane. Thousands of collectors, resellers, and sneakerheads pulled up to buy, sell, and trade some of the rarest pairs you’ll ever see.

In this video we take you inside the event to show what SneakerCon in Japan is really like. The energy in Japan is completely different — the sneaker culture here is on another level. From crazy rare Jordans and limited SBs to hyped collaborations and vintage heat, there were tables full of grails everywhere you looked.

We walked the entire floor checking out insane sneaker collections, negotiating deals, and seeing what sneakers are trending in Japan right now. The Japanese sneaker community is known for keeping shoes in perfect condition, and the level of heat we saw at this event definitely proved it.

Of course we had to get involved in the action ourselves. We talked with vendors, met sneaker collectors from around the world, and tried to find some deals while representing Fire Kicks overseas. It’s always interesting to see how sneaker prices compare internationally and which pairs are hotter in Japan versus the United States.

Japan is also one of the most important countries in global streetwear culture, so events like this bring together brands, collectors, and sneakerheads who live and breathe sneakers every day.
