Store Theft Turns Into a Foot Chase When 3 Women Bolt

Описание: On June 28, 2023 in Port Charlotte, Florida, deputies from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from loss prevention after three people were seen allegedly trying to steal nearly $5,800 worth of merchandise from a Kohl’s store. According to officials, the suspects filled bags and a red suitcase with items before attempting to leave the store. When deputies arrived and parked outside, the women reportedly dropped the stolen goods and ran in different directions in an effort to evade arrest. This is body cam footage of the events that followed.
