Describe a Polite Person [IELTS Speaking]

Описание: When it comes to IELTS speaking part 2, you cannot predict future cue cards, but you can practise with older ones. That's because they tend to share common features. One is that you often have to describe a person, and in today's lesson we'll focus on a cue card that asks you to describe a polite person.

In order to make this as useful as possible for you, I will analyse the cue card and then give you some advice on language. That will involve teaching you a little vocabulary for giving descriptive answers. Then, I will talk about structuring a part 2 answer because that is actually quite important. I will show you how this can lead to better descriptions.

After that, I am going to provide a sample band 9 answer, but importantly I will explain why my answer was so effective. This will highlight yet more vocabulary by giving you some good phrases to use. These can be modified to describe all kinds of people.
