For my senior thesis project I decided to create a work revolving around the importance of joy, specifically Black joy. I'd been working on this project since April 2016 and when The New Edition Story came out, I couldn't ignore how the story and the cast embodied Black joy so authentically and how that created so much joy with my friends as well.

As a dancer who learns from video often, a videographer, an editor and a girl who has watched The New Edition Story 50 times and counting, WHY WOULDN'T I RECREATE THIS ICONIC VIDEO!
