I finally got a blue box RWS deck thanks to a trade with our lovely Simon from @The Hermit’s Cave
I didn’t have a blue box and he didn’t have a vintage yellow box. So—we traded blushing fool for blushing fool. I sent him a Samuel Weiser yellow box.
I’m beyond excited to finally have the magnificent deck! It’s in pristine condition and as fabulous as I imagined.
I hypothesized that the cardstock and printing quality would be the same as my Samuel wider decks because they were both printed by the same printing house.
I did run into a little bump in the road—my Samuel wiser isn’t a blushing fool. The blushing fool is the result of a printing error. It also effects the areas of color on the card that rely on red to create the final color.
In order to make it a fair printing comparison I used my 6th edition deck which is a blushing fool deck.
I also compared the lamination and card thickness between the Blue box and my Samuel Weiser deck.
