I've been a Purple Belt since 2019 and also moved out to California to train. I will be bringing Gi Rolling/Sparring Video Breakdowns to the channel on a regular basis so stay tuned for more! I'm always looking to improve and what better way to do that than to post my rolls on the internet for people to watch and dissect. What could go wrong? lol

So this roll was pretty fun because my buddy Calvin cross trains BJJ and Judo. He is also in a bigger weight class. Before this roll we actually filmed some judo takedowns so I already knew what he could do if I tried to stand up with him. He has a good stand up and throw game and to counteract his ability to throw I pull guard multiple times, get the sweep and come up to pass. This Purple Belt v White Belt with Judo Experience roll focuses on how I tackle anyone with a good background on their feet. I hope you guys enjoy it. I also really enjoy narrated jiu-jitsu videos where you can follow my train of thought during the rolling/sparring. In this video I mainly explore my strategy for people with good Judo games or wrestling games.
