Stage supports the slide that is being used, you know
Stage clip holds the slide in place for view, that's so

The Diaphragm controls amount of light passing through opening (5x)
Mirror reflects light upward and through the diaphragm, hey

The base supports the microscope on the table, you know
Place the microscope with the arm toward you, let's go
Turn the coarse adjustment knob, and nosepiece to low power
Adjust diaphragm, put slide on stage look through eyepiece, hey
