The People's Liberation Army's (PLA’s) Hong Kong garrison has released two videos showing anti-terrorism and anti-riot drills.
Water cannons and tanks are mobilised in some of the exercises shown in the video released on July 31, 2019.
Chen Daoxiang, commander of the PLA garrison in Hong Kong, warned on the same day that violent clashes in the city will not be tolerated and that the army is determined to protect China’s sovereignty.
