Inspired by the Queen who lived a life of service and leadership, Hawaiʻinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge is committed to empower our students by learning the moʻolelo Hawaiʻi of the past, document the moʻolelo of the present, and galvanize actions that benefit the future of our community.
Established in 2007, Hawaiʻinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge consists of Kamakakūokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies, Kawaihuelani Center for Hawaiian Language, Ka Papa Lo‘i O Kānewai Cultural Garden, Native Hawaiian Student Services, and the Dean’s Office. Hawai‘inuiākea is the only college of indigenous knowledge in a Research I institution in the United States.
