Beautiful 4K remaster of Doctor Who The Christmas Invasion, with David Tennant and Billie Piper as the 10th doctor, and Rose Tyler.
I wanted to do a quick video to see how the results were looking.
This clip took a few hours and cost £2.60 for cloud rendering.
I’m still looking to find ways of bringing out more details, while making sure that it’s not overly sharp. But this is a considerable improvement to the last video.
It’s getting to the point where it’s looking so natural that you forget how bad the original was, which is good. I feel it shouldn’t be glaringly obvious that work has been done to the footage.
This video is to demonstrate the progression of advancement in AI technology to see how it can benefit older content.
