2025 Fisker PEAR ⚡ 300 miles of Range, SuperComputer & Price Starts from $29,900

Описание: Fisker officially announced it will source an electric vehicle from a former General Motors plant in Lordstown, Ohio, which was acquired last fall by Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn — the same company that builds iPhones for Apple.

The vehicle in question is an urban runabout code-named Project Fisker PEAR, which Fisker plans to launch in mid-2025 with a starting price of $29,900.

Pear stands for Personal Electric Automotive Revolution and the new car will sit beneath the recently-revealed Ocean in the line-up, and The company targets annual production of 250,000 units for the Electric Vehicles.

A category-breaking lifestyle vehicle built on Fisker’s SLV-1 platform, PEAR is built using Fisker’s Steel++ development process, resulting in the use of 35% fewer parts than other EVs in class.

CEO Henrik Fisker said, “We’ll have two battery sizes, and we haven’t said what they are yet, But we’re looking at just over 300 miles (483 km); in the UK probably 340, something like that.

Deliveries were initially set to begin in 2024, but this has been pushed back to “some time in the first half of 2025”, owing to the process of finalizing a battery supplier.

Henrik Fisker claimed on stage that the new Pear will start at $29,900, before federal incentives, so a final supposed take-home price closer to $23,000 for the base model.

According to the company, more than 6,000 Pear reservations have been made.
