About the Speakers:
Alex Kizer is the Executive Vice President at the Energy Futures Initiative (EFI) Foundation and the Executive Director of the Hydrogen Demand Initiative (H2DI), a coalition led by the EFI Foundation. He is a clean energy and energy policy expert with over 15 years of experience in the energy sector.
Rory M. Christian is the Chair and CEO of the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) and CEO of the Department of Public Service (DPS), where he oversees New York's energy and utility policy. Appointed in 2021, Christian has extensive experience in the energy sector, including roles in the private sector, government, and nonprofit organizations. His career has been marked by a consistent focus on clean energy, energy affordability, and environmental justice.
John Gasparine, AICP, is the New York Transportation Lead and a Senior Vice President at WSP USA Inc., a global engineering firm. He has been with WSP since 2015, rising through the ranks to his current leadership position in New York, where he oversees all transportation policy, planning, operations, and program management initiatives. His work at the firm is guided by a focus on health, equity, decarbonization, and resilience, reflecting his multidisciplinary background.
Yves Noel is the former Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at the New York Power Authority (NYPA). He left this position in February 2025 after a five-year tenure to pursue a new opportunity related to the energy transition. During his time at NYPA, Noel was a key driver of the organization's Vision2030 strategic plan, which aims to help New York State meet its clean energy and decarbonization goals.
