Vienna's metro reaches the next level: The first of 34 new X-Wagen metro trains has just entered into passenger service.

Starting from 2026, the X-Wagen will run fully automated on the new line U5. All trains will be put in operation by 2030 on metro lines U1 to U5. Thanks to the valuable trust from Wiener Linien, we sincerely appreciate the long-term partnership by delivering 3 generations of Metro trains in Vienna starting from “Silber Pfeil” to “V-Wagen” and now to “X-Wagen”.
