Nomula Manikya Rao Reacts To Ambati Comments On Pemmasani. After coming out of jail, Ambati Rambabu met Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and later spoke to the media. YSRCP has been projecting Ambati as a strong Kapu leader. However, Ambati himself said that his daughters were married into the Kamma community, not within the Kapu community. This created confusion about the party’s caste-based narrative. Ambati also claimed that Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar had warned him that he would “see a film” within 24 hours. According to Ambati, he was kept in jail for 18 days and that was the “film” shown to him. He questioned who the real “hero” of this big drama was, while YSRCP leaders tried to portray him as the victim and hero. He further alleged that officials added false points in the remand report to block his bail. He said his political criticism of N. Chandrababu Naidu was wrongly shown as an insult to the Kamma community. But TDP supporters argue that Ambati used abusive language and later tried to escape responsibility by calling it political criticism. TDP leaders say this is another example of YSRCP playing caste politics and spreading confusion. They believe Chandrababu Naidu focuses on development and unity, while YSRCP creates division for political gain.
