Описание: In the 1950s and 1960s, Australia could boast three tenors of international repute - Albert Lance, Ken Neate and Ronald Dowd. All three excelled in varying repertoire in major houses. Here is the wonderful Albert Lance (who left Australia as Lance Ingram in 1954 and never returned) in the title role of Gounod's FAUST. In this, the opera's opening scene, he is joined by the magnificent American bass, Jerome Hines, as Méphistophélès. The Orchestra of the New Orleans Opera is conducted by Knud Andersson in this performance from July 10th 1967
