Tallest Peak in Texas! | Guadalupe and Carlsbad Caverns in Winter

Описание: Escape the cold of winter with us to Carlsbad Caverns National Park and Guadalupe Mountains National Park, exploring some of the most iconic landscapes in the American Southwest.

Ito end our year, we set out with just two days to experience it all. Day one begins deep underground at Carlsbad Caverns, where we hike the Natural Entrance Trail, descending into the earth and making our way through stunning formations all the way to the legendary Big Room. After the tour, we hit the road toward Guadalupe Mountains National Park, set up camp, and squeeze in a visit to the historic Frijole Ranch before nightfall.

We spend the night at Pine Springs Campground, perfectly positioned at the base of the next day's challenge. Day two brings clear skies and a warm Texas winter day as we tackle the hike to the summit of Guadalupe Peak (8,751 ft) — the highest point in Texas. The climb is demanding but rewarding, with sweeping desert and mountain views that make every step worth it.

After reaching the summit and taking in the views, we return to camp for one final peaceful night before heading home the next day.
