Filmed in 2012 - just a year before his passing, this clip captures Mulgrew’s warmth, wisdom, and artistry during a Tel Aviv masterclass.
Mulgrew Miller was asked by my former student, talented pianist Roy Mor, to show how he would comp on “All The Things You Are.”
Luckily, I had my camera with me to capture this unique moment.
Mulgrew, always humble and generous, shares his deep musical insight in this unforgettable clip from Mulgrew Miller Week at the New School’s Center for Jazz Studies in Tel Aviv Conservatory.
