This fund honors the memory of Al Berard, a revered musician, mentor, and cultural advocate. It supports community organizations that promote Cajun/Creole heritage, music, arts, and the French language. Since its founding, the fund has awarded approximately $80,000 in grants to regional music and culture programs.
