Описание: To mark the 60th anniversary of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection, Cassina presents a documentary that explores the origins, evolution and contemporary relevance of the collection.

The story opens with insights from Barbara Lehmann, Curator of the Cassina Historical Archive, as she describes the encounter between these three pioneering designers and their visionary approach to redefining modern living.

Through the voices of Cassina CEO Luca Fuso, Cassina Art Director Patricia Urquiola and the design duo Formafantasma, the documentary then explores the importance of celebrating this anniversary—not only to honour a revolutionary design legacy, but to reflect critically on the meaning of modernity today.

The narrative culminates in ‘Staging Modernity’, an installation and theatrical performance conceived by Formafantasma and staged at Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber during Milan Design Week. Directed by Fabio Cherstich and performed by professional actors, the pièce brings to life the ideals of the past through a contemporary lens, blending design, art and performance in a truly immersive experience.

This film reveals how timeless design continues to evolve—and to shape the spaces we inhabit.
