Hey everyone! Welcome back to the channel. It’s 6:45 AM and we’re all set for a road trip from Chennai to Yelagiri. The weather’s perfect, the playlist’s ready, and we’ve got a full tank of fuel. Let’s go!”

We took the Vandalur–Kelambakkam High Road to get out of the city quickly, and then hopped onto the ORR—Outer Ring Road. Smooth roads, hardly any traffic this early—it was a breeze!”

Got off the ORR and joined the Walajabad road. This stretch passes through some prominent industrial zones—especially around Sriperumbudur and Kancheepuram. It’s a good mix of wide open roads and glimpses of rural Tamil Nadu.”

“Around 8 AM, we reached Kancheepuram and decided to stop for breakfast at the iconic Hotel Saravana Bhavan. You can’t go wrong with crispy dosas and hot filter coffee on a road trip—it’s a must!”

After refueling ourselves, it was a non-stop drive all the way to Yelagiri. We cruised past Ranipet, Arcot, Ambur, and Vaniyambadi. The roads were great, traffic was minimal, and the weather stayed cool.”

“Just before reaching Tirupattur, we took a left and started the climb towards Yelagiri. And here’s where things got exciting…”

“The drive up the hill has 14 hairpin bends—each one offering a stunning view of the valley below. If you love mountain drives, this part is definitely the highlight of the trip.”

“Finally, after about five hours on the road, we reached our resort in Yelagiri at 11:45 AM. The air is fresh, the vibe is peaceful, and we’re ready to relax and explore!”
