iNav 2.5.2 Inflight Random Disarm and Crash

Описание: Newest version of stable iNav 2.5.2 appears to have problems. The day before this crash my large camera quad with the same firmware version became erratic when switched to NAV modes and eventually become uncontrollable and crashed. Props were well-balanced and blackbox logging showed vibration was very low. In addition, while in Configurator the motors randomly armed and idled on the bench even with the outputs in the outputs tab disabled.


This random inflight disarm was on a fully loaded FX-61 carrying about $600 worth of equipment. During the flight in Angle Mode, the throttle randomly decreased into what appeared to be auto throttle and would not change even after switching modes. Then just before disarm, "Auto Throttle" appears next to throttle position and "A H" appears in the mode display. I later realized that the altimeter was also missing from the OSD. It was there on a test flight the day before.


Other users have mentioned iNav exhibiting random disarming in flight. Whether this is true or not, I lost around a grand worth of aircraft in two days thanks to iNav. I'm moving everything to Ardupilot.


FYI - The date on the DVR was never set. The date of the crash was November 4, 2020.
