Описание: In this video, I had the opportunity to chat with Dr. Dion Metzger, a board certified Psychiatrist about life as a Psychiatrist, dealing with physician suicide, burnout, working in private practice, and tips for all.

Dr. Dion Metzger is a board certified psychiatrist whose approachable demeanor and compelling expertise have helped her transform the lives of her patients.

It was during a psychology class her senior year in high school that Dr. Metzger developed an interest in human behavior. That led the New York native to Atlanta, Georgia where she enrolled in Emory University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at Emory University School of Medicine. In addition to obtaining her degrees, she also completed medical research at Stanford University School of Medicine and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

She is the co-author of The Modern Trophy Wife: How To Achieve Your Life Goals While Thriving at Home, a book that gives women the tools to strengthen, deepen or revitalize themselves and their relationships.

Dr. Metzger is not only a physician, professor and health media expert but also a wife and a mother. She has been featured on The Doctors, CNN’s HLN network, and in The New York Times. She has provided her expertise through features on many media outlets discussing relationships, marriage, work/life balance, parenting, sex, fitness and other wellness topics. Her motto of “better mind, better life” encourages her audience to prioritize their mental health in life’s balance.
