I think I finally found myself in something real. I write about the things I do and how I feel. And now I'm trying to build a life around these crazy dreams I have, but I've never been so scared to take the wheel. All of the hard work that I've done could lead to nothing. If that were to happen, what would I have then to show that I've worked myself to death for as long as I remember? My guitar is the best friend I've ever known.

If I hold strong to my faith, then God will lead the way. If I put my trust, then I don't need to be afraid.

I can't count how many times I've been let down on both my hands or all the times my expectations just fell through, but if I look back on how far I've come and all that I've accomplished, giving up is not an option that I ever plan to do.

God, I know that you have a plan for me and not knowing what it is right now, that scares me half to death, but I know you wouldn't bring me out this far just to watch me fall apart, I swear I'm giving you my best.

This is my life and everything thus far has made me who I am, and it's been rough. I know that much is true. But this is a promise to myself and everyone who's stood beside me, as long as this means something to me I'll see it through.

You have given me a gift I can't repay, but that's not stopping me from trying anyway.
