MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE KNIFE
I’m a fan of lighter knives but they are no good for long distance throwing - especially if it’s even a little windy.
The design of Stinger is a combination of two hit products - the original Tom Tom’s arrows and the Vengeance arrow.
The bulby handle and extreme handle heaviness of the knife help to get a stick from extreme distances.
But Stinger is not merely for long distance throwing. On 3-7 meters its’ weight (242 g) provides stability needed especially in stressful competition situations where a lighter knife could be too sensitive for some throwers.
8mm thickness creates a solid surface for the index finger function and prevents mistakes upon the release more efficiently than 6mm.
The steel is super good so no need to worry about broken tips after knives hitting something hard. (Please see the durability video on the website mentioned in the beginning.)
I believe that the best throwers create the best knives and this knife is another excellent piece of work of the ”Man in the woods” - Adam Celadin.
