Описание: Have you ever wondered what a full ministry day at KCM looks like? For us, community outreach and family visits are at the heart of what we do. These visits allow us to identify the children and families who need our help the most. Today, we’d like to share the story of a resilient grandmother living in Kigalama, Uganda, whose courage and struggles deeply touched our hearts.
Meet Nalugwa Sarah, a 75-year-old grandmother facing unimaginable challenges. Sarah once found joy in the care of her only child—a daughter who worked tirelessly to support her aging mother and her young children. Tragically, two years ago, their lives changed forever. Her daughter was involved in a devastating accident, losing both her legs and her ability to provide for the family.
Now, Jjaja Sarah shoulders the heavy burden of caring for her grandchildren. Her frail body battles hypertension and diabetes, leaving her frequently sick and unable to work. With no income, she struggles to feed her family,can’t send the children to school.

Her greatest cry is for her grandchildren to have a chance—a chance to go to school, a chance to sleep on good bedding, and a chance to grow up with food on their plates. She dreams of a small plot of land where she can plant crops to sustain the family

When we visited Sarah, her story touched us deeply. Her resilience and love for her family despite the odds remind us why we do what we do. At KCM, we are determined to make a difference in their lives.
