Bentleyville, Ohio -- An officer with the BPD observed a dark green Sentra that had expired registration. A traffic stop was performed and the officer recognized the male whom the officer knows from a previous interaction. The man didn't provide any identification to the officer. Upon running the male's information, it was revealed that the man was under a license forfeiture suspension, as well as an active warrant from the Cleveland Metroparks Police Department.
The male refused to comply when ordered to leave the vehicle. Eventually he was pulled out of the vehicle and while walking back to the patrol vehicle, scrapped his handcuffs against the police car, "causing significant damage" to the paint and decaling.
The man, later identified as Addison Tisch, was charged with the following:
Vandalism (on a government entity)
Obstructing official business
Driving under suspension
Expired plates
I'm not sure, but according to court records he was also charged by Solon PD for "Criminal Damaging". I assume he did something to the jail, but I'm only speculating.
His status hearing is set for July 25th, 2022.
