FAIRY TALE SMACKDOWN! | NYX Face Awards 2016

Описание: The Queen of Light and the Queen of Shadows battle it out in epic proportions over The Girl! Who will win in the end?!? This is my submission for the NYX Face Awards 2016 Top 30, first challenge: Fairy Tale.

This video means a lot to me personally. Not just because of all the blood, sweat, and tears I put into making this (literally... I sprained my back filming this and went to the hospital... hence the tears lol), and not only because of the tremendous opportunity. But because of the message of the intro, which represents not only myself and my inner battle with light and shadow, but is a dedication to my father, no longer on this Earth.

I wrote the song "Free" at the same time we found out he had cancer, and the lyrics "Inside of me is an army, I just want to be free" are dedicated to him, his life, and his battle. In the end, I'll always believe he won that battle, as he lived his life on Earth with nothing short of grace and humility, and triumphed as he transcended this life to a greater one. I'm so thankful to be able to have shared this with you in this way.
