A Dublin Day-Trip Hike

This is our fifth time doing the Bray-Greystones Cliff Walk. As mentioned in our previous video on the Bray Cliff walk, we tend to do this every time we go to Ireland. This is our fifth time doing the walk, and this time was a little different. A rockslide up the trail closed it off, so we had to make some changes to our plans and went up to the top of the mountain and along the ridgeline. As you’ll see the views are even more spectacular than along the cliff walk, which is already a gorgeous walk. This time we ended the hike at ‘The Happy Pear’ in Greystones – one of our favourite vegetarian restaurants and grocers anywhere. Whether you are a meat-eater or vegan/vegetarian we highly recommend ‘The Happy Pear’ for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Their cappuccinos and lattes are among our favourites. If you get the chance to do this walk more than once, we highly recommend hiking up to the cross and walking along the ridgeline to Greystones. Views of Sugarloaf and the other Wicklow mountains in the distance, as well as up the coast towards Dublin is breathtaking.
