In late autumn 2020, from the ashes of the faded Seelenschmerz (from 1998-2018),
an as-yet-unnamed project was begun. Far removed from any musically defined framework,
originality, authenticity, and above all, passion were and are our only priorities.
We took our time, experimented a lot, and now you can hear our compact mix

of almost all subgenres of metal.

Our music can be described as dark, epic, and powerful.

Faland came to life! The name Faland comes from Old High German
and was once a term for the devil or a devil-like being/dragon.

Quite fitting for us, since in our texts we describe precisely this: the devil who slumbers
within everyone, spins the strings in fairy tales, and always plays his own story...
