I'm a retired Korean American school teacher on a 84 day trip solo through Europe. I love traveling and have traveled the world but this is the first time I'm traveling alone for the first time and I wanted document my travels. I was little afraid at first traveling alone but have started to enjoy the challenges and adventures of traveling along for such a long time.
I was fortunate enough to be in Rhodes Island 1 week before the 2023 devastating fire that destroyed the Island. So you can see what this beautiful Island looked like before the fire destroyed it.
In this episode, I explore the harbor of Rhodes Island, Greece including visit to the port entrance where it was once believed that the Giant Statue of Colossus stood over the harbor opening 2,300 years ago. I also take a swim in the Mediterranean Sea..
