From Murphy to Manteo, with local experts in all 100 counties plus the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, 1,000-plus university Extension experts address community needs through educational programs, events, on-site visits, publications, school curricula, hundreds of websites and more.

NC State also works with N.C. A&T State University, as well as federal, state and local governments, to form a strategic partnership called N.C. Cooperative Extension. Extension is the largest non-formal educational outreach organization in the UNC System.
