Описание: Thousands of teenagers will be heading into schools today to pick up their GCSE results and find out just how they fared in their exams. Exams regulator Ofqual has said a return to pre-pandemic grading means this year’s national GCSE results in England will be lower than last year and similar to grades in 2019. It got us thinking about pushy parents, and whether it is ever ok to bribe your kids to achieve the top grades? Kaye’s under the impression that no amount of bribery will make a child work hard unless they want to do it for themselves, and Jane will be reflecting on how she ‘scraped by’ at school, only ever doing the bare minimum to pass her exams. Denise, who was too busy having fun to feel the pressure of exams in her teens, reveals why there was never any high tension on results day in her household.
