A short video on how to crochet a row for one-handed/amputee crocheters.
Apologies if the second method is a little clunky - it's not how I usually hold the hook and I have the tripod between my arms!
For one-handed crochet you just need something to hold the hook if you can't. You could try between the legs or even the armpit with a bit of practice.
Or, using an ergonomic hook (one with handles), I think a vice to hold the hook might help.

Alternatively, these ties might work to hold the hook if you can stick them to a piece of wood or something that could keep the crochet hook stable.

Sugru is amazing for sticking things together without it getting messy or needing two hands. https://sugru.com/
The 'crocheting' can be done just using your other working hand.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm using:
Stylecraft DK yarn - white: https://www.lovecrochet.com/stylecraf...
Clover hooks: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Clover-Amour...
The clover hooks are amazing, I've just started using them and they are much smoother and easier to use than the cheap £10 sets.
Повторяем попытку...
