Valheim is an open-world sandbox, survival game, coated in Norse and Viking mythology. Players are able to explore a vast procedural-generated world consisting of scattered islands with different environments and resources.
Valheim has a day-night cycle system and a dynamic weather system, that enhances not only the scene atmosphere, but also the survival mechanics - as wetness is a factor when interacting with objects in the game world.
The art direction is stunning at places - with low-polygon models and pixelated vegetation.
